Having Friends in Normal Places

Okay, i wanted to start off the title with a riff on Garth Brooks "Friends in Low Places," but that isn't what Blog #3 is about. I just wanted to comment on how great it is to have friends in normal places. Since putting up my www.helpjohnfindlove.com website and billboard, i have gotten great support from many of my friends. I recently added Jim & Tiffani Nieusma's comments about me onto the homepage. I think your friends' support of your endeavors is very important and i feel lucky to have the support of fine people like the Nieusmas!

John's Fun Date with Kim

Had a great date with Kim the eye doctor last night. We stopped in at my favorite old time record store, Rock & Roll Heaven and got to hear owner Freddy Ehmen tell the story of how he wouldn't sell the Moe doll to Michael Jackson. After playing Kim the Chicago favorite "Lake Shore Drive," by Alliotta, Haynes & Jeremiah, it was OFF to a lovely dinner!
